Established in 1867, Balmer Lawrie & Co Limited, India, is a multi technology conglomerate, with been marketing lubricating oul and grease since 1930's under Balmerol brand. Balmer Lawrie has pioneered manufacture of grease in India and is today the largest manufacturer of grease and speciality lubricating oils in India. The company has 5 plan for manufacture of lubricants in India with state of art manufacturing facilities certified to ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001. Manufacturing is backed up by advanced R&D facilities, enabling tailor made solutions for lubricantion needs of industries.

Balmer Lawrie & Co. Limited, India, through its wholly owned subsidiary Balmer & Lawrie (U.K) Limited, established in the United Kingdom, has set up a joint Venture wholly owned subsidiary company in Indonesia along with PT. Imani Wicaksana. The Joint venture company, named PT. Balmer Lawrie Indonesia is manufacturing and marketing Balmerol range of products in Indonesia since September 2011.
